La storia del cocktail: il Espresso Martini

Nato a Londra nei primi anni ’80, l’Espresso Martini è un cocktail dall’anima urbana e notturna. La leggenda vuole che il bartender Dick Bradsell, uno dei barman contemporanei più influenti nel settore, lo crei alla Soho Brasserie in Old Compton Street per una modella piuttosto famosa che chiedeva un drink “che mi svegli e mi sballi”. Vodka, liquore al caffè e un espresso appena fatto si mescolano fino a una schiuma setosa e a un gusto intenso. Nato come “Vodka Espresso”, diventa presto Espresso Martini grazie alla sua iconica coppa. Oggi è un classico moderno amato in tutto il mondo: perfetto per il dopocena, capace di unire energia e piacere in un solo sorso.
